Journal - Today you will be selecting a global issue topic to use in the next two units for this class. When you hear/read the words “global issue” what comes to mind? Elaborate and explain yourself.
When I read the words "global issue", I think of a major problem in the world. It makes me think of starving kids in Africa or wars happening in other countries.These examples may not affect the whole entire world, but they must be a pretty big deal if we've heard about them in our country. I'm pretty sure everyone in the world has heard about starving kids in Africa at least once in their life. So if the whole world knows, wouldn't that be considered a global issue then? I don't know, I'm just guessing.
